How We Do

Here at Genni & Gina, we don't believe in telling you how to wear your clothes. You've been putting clothes on a long time and we think you have a good idea how to do it. But there's always room for inspiration. Sometimes that inspiration comes from runway fashion, but most times, it comes from street fashion. We're really inspired by things that people actually wear and the way real people are wearing their knits out.

We've labeled all of these posts "Inspiration" and given each picture lots of tags. We're hoping to make it a little easier to go back and find that inspiring sweater outfit you saw but can't remember when. You can search tag words by color or style of the knit itself, or of other elements of the outfit, for ease.

Every now and again, we'll include an outfit that doesn't have any obvious knits. Usually something was striking about the silhouette or colors of the outfit. Sometimes, style is just style and we hope you find some things that inspire you.
